Hearth Mounting

The Sahara and Sahara Deluxe are suitable for hearth or wall mounting on a non com-bustible hearth at least 13mm thick and meauring at least 305mm deep and 710mm wide with the fireplace opening central . The top surface of the hearth should preferably b 50mm above floor level to discourage the placing of carpets or rugs over it.

Wall Mounting:
The Sahara and Sahara Deluxe are suitable for wall mounting onto a non-combustible wall so that the top of the spigot opening in the closure plate is at least 48mm above the finished floor level.

Flue Suitability:
The Sahara and Sahara Deluxe may be fitted into the following flues with minimum equivalent flue heights of 3m(10ft)

Standard Brick Chimeny: 228mm x 228mm (9in x 9in) or 7in diameter
Metal flue boxes : e.g Selkirk 125mm (5in)diameter
Pre-Cast block flues  : 198mm x 67mm  min
